Do both people need a Nodia Ring?＋
No. The Nodia app is an interest community in its own right. A ring wearer can receive a haptic signal when a compatible app member is nearby; if both people wear a ring, both can receive the signal.
Does Nodia constantly share my location?＋
Nearby discovery is permission-based. You choose whether to enable location and which interests can participate. Exact privacy controls may continue to evolve before launch.
Does a vibration automatically reveal me?＋
No. The signal indicates shared context, not an automatic introduction. You decide whether to view the match and initiate or accept a conversation.
Is Nodia a dating product?＋
Nodia is built for interest-led human connection: friendship, community, activity partners, alumni circles and conversations. The shared interest comes first.
What about the heartbeat feature?＋
While you chat with someone in the Nodia community app, your ring can show them your live heartbeat — and theirs to you — so you can sense whether the interest is mutual. It is a social signal, not a medical measurement.
