This Privacy Policy explains how Nodia collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you browse our website, buy or use a Nodia Ring, use the Nodia mobile application, create an account, participate in the Nodia community, or contact us. “Nodia,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the Nodia brand and the entities that operate its products and services.

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Nodia.

• Contact, account and profile information, including your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, username, profile image and preferences.
• Order and payment information, including purchase, delivery, return and transaction details. Payment card information is generally processed by our payment providers rather than stored by Nodia.
• Ring, app and connection information. If you use features such as interest matching or the shared heartbeat in community chats, we may process the data needed to provide those features, subject to your settings and applicable law. The shared heartbeat is a social feature, not a medical measurement or health service.
• Device, technical and usage information, such as device identifiers, browser type, IP address, app interactions, crash logs and approximate location derived from IP address.
• Community content and communications, including posts, comments, media, reactions, reports, messages sent to support and information you choose to publish.

We use personal information to operate and improve Nodia, process orders, provide the Ring and App, personalize settings and community experiences, provide support, secure our services, detect fraud, comply with law, and measure how our products and communications perform. We may create aggregated or de-identified analytics to understand usage, product quality and trends. We do not attempt to re-identify de-identified data except where permitted by law.

Some data, such as precise location or a shared heartbeat, may be treated as sensitive where applicable law requires it. We use it to provide the features you choose to enable, maintain and improve those features, troubleshoot issues, and conduct product and safety analysis. We do not sell this data or use it for interest-based advertising. We will ask for consent where required, and you may be able to disable certain permissions through the App or your device settings.

Your community profile, posts, comments and other content may be visible to the audience you select or that is described when you post. Please do not post information you would not want others to see.

We may feature, repost or adapt public community content—including your username, content and associated media—on Nodia channels such as our website, email and social media where you have made it public, tagged or submitted it for a campaign, or otherwise given us permission. We will respect applicable law and any opt-out or removal rights that apply.

We may share information with service providers that help us host the App and website, process payments, ship orders, provide customer support, analyze performance, prevent fraud and run communications; with professional advisers and authorities where required; and in connection with a corporate transaction. We may share information with other community members only in accordance with your visibility settings and the nature of the feature. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.

Nodia and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live, including the United States, Hong Kong and locations where our technology, fulfillment or support partners operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and you should protect your account credentials and device.

Nodia is not directed to children under the age at which they can consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us.
